Having celiac I have a lot of experience with gluten free buns and most of them are very heavy and a lot of calories. So happy to have found these! By far the best. For those who mentioned the buns being dry (I always experience that with GF bread) pop it in the microwave for 15 seconds or so, it works like a charm to add moisture. The bonus is that now that I am on WW I can enjoy a gluten free bun!

Just ate my first one (literally still sitting at the table) and had to review. These are so good! I had mine with a turkey cheeseburger with mayo, ketchup and mustard. I would never have known these were anything but regular burns. They are a little dry, but no drier than they would be after having been bought at the store and not used immediately. Plus, the condiments took care of the dryness. I ordered the “out of spec” bun and could see nothing wrong with any of them.

Total game changer! I have been being the smart cakes for a few years but never tried the smart buns until recently. I have been low carb for 7 years have tried every “bread” product thats ever been on the market! Smart buns are hands down the BEST! worth every penny!

Love these bun for anything from burgers to using them as biscuits with butter and sugar free jam with coffee. They toast well in the oven and George Forman grill as well.

These buns are fantastic!
I let them sit out at room temp while I am cooking meal and then prepare them as I choose below:
I usually put them in microwave for about 10-15 seconds then they are warm and delicious.
I also use them for Garlic Bread, I just open them, spray with butter and garlic and broil them until brown. So good!
I only wish they would make these in sub buns or hot dog buns however, I do use them for a sub sandwich. I put a little fat free cheese on each half and broil until cheese melts, then add my meat and condiments. Yummy!

I think these buns are quite good, and since I’m following a WW diet, the points are only 1 (for the whole bun), which I can’t find this low of points for any other buns. I only wish they had HOT DOG buns too! I am not gluten free but my 18 yr daughter, who is both celiac and type 1 diabetic, absolutely loves these buns because they are soft and very low carb, much like regular buns. I’ve just started ordering them and having them sent directly to her college dorm. Thank you for a great product…now please produce a low carb hot dog bun too!

I too was skeptical as most reviewers, the bun is slightly dry but adding mayo or avocado spread to it makes it so much better. Enjoyed the fact that the buns (4 pack) were in separate packages. Would definitely order again, it was quite tasty!!

I was skeptical that these buns would taste good or actually keep their shape. I was very happy to find out I was completely wrong. Not only are they tasty, they held up very well to my hamburger patty. I grilled them a bit in the grease from the pan to give them a bit of moisture and that really put them over the top. Bread was the main food I was missing while on Keto, but no more. Great job SBC!

These buns make it possible to eat sandwiches again on a keto diet. They are a little dry, but I’ve found buttering and frying them (like a grilled cheese), or adding a bit of mayo goes a long way to making these go down easier.

Just tried these tonight and I love them! I actually ordered the ‘out of spec’ buns because they were cheaper, but they looked/tasted 100% normal!!! I’ve had other low calorie breads and this is by far my favorite. It has the closest taste and texture to regular hamburger buns. The option to have a seeded version is just icing on the cake for me!
It’s not chewy and super dense like a lot of other lower calorie fiber breads on the market. It has no weird aftertaste, and fits my burger patties perfect! Not too big, and definitely not too small! I can’t believe they’re only 72 calories!!!! The only difference between these and regular buns (besides the huge caloric difference) is that these sit in your stomach like a rock and will satiate you for much longer!
I made cheeseburgers today and two sandwiches were just under 500 calories thanks to these glorious buns. I’m never looking back. I’m praying these will be in grocery retailers soon because I don’t think I could ever get enough!!!! I knew Smart Baking Company’s cakes were delicious, but I had no clue their buns also had the same potential! They’re revolutionizing the entire industry!
